The Call of Iceland

Everything started when I first came to this country. It's amazing, beautiful, peaceful. One can feel connetion with the nature and feel oneself part of it. In year 2009, July, we crossed the country on our bicycles from Husavik through Myvatn, Egillstadir, Hoefn, Iceberg Lagoon, Geysir, Blue Lagoon, to Reikjavik and to Keflavik to get back home. Our bicycle trip lasted for 18 days, and we came accross many marvelous places. Thanks God, the weather was tolerant to us, so we could enjoy our trip.

But when I came back home, and emotions after the trip calmed down, I realized that the country calls me back. Especially noting that fact that I forgot my wrestwatch there, in a faraway place that nobody can find it over there. I guess it's a sign for me to get back there.

The second sign was on my birthday. It was March 22, 2010, when my friend sent me the message over e-mail: "Did you hear, the volcaton woke up in Iceland, near Katla!" Yeap, my B-day, and the volcano breaks his deep sleep and wakes up . Incredible! The Iceland tries to reach me and always remembers about itself!

Well, from the very beginning I looked the video my friend sent me and saw nothing special. But then I decided to post all info about the eruption I come accross here, in this blog. Just for the record. And maybe, someone else will find it useful.

So I'll try store here all info about the Eyjafjallajökull volcano eruption that I come accross here.
